ABOUT

Mike Brown

Michael Brown, a 33-year-old mechanic hailing from Dickson, TN, balances his career at the United States Postal Service in Nashville with his passion for high-performance diesel trucks. Alongside his day job, Brown runs a side business and shop affectionately known as Postal Performance. While primarily a sled puller, Brown boasts considerable experience on the dyno, clinching victories in the UCC fan dyno competitions of 2021 and 2023 with impressive horsepower outputs.

With a 2007 Dodge 3500 Megacab dually as his canvas, Brown has transformed his truck over seven years of ownership. From a stock vehicle to a powerhouse on the track, his rig features an array of upgrades including a sleeved 6.7 Hamilton Comp wet block, D&J rods, stage 3 head, and Tater-built G57 108mm and 80mm turbos. Dual 14mm Exergy pumps, dual Airdog 5Gs, and Flux Comp hybrid injectors ensure optimal fuel delivery, while a 48RE with Anteater transmission handles the power transfer. Keaton Samples at SPF Fab crafted the piping, contributing to the truck's exceptional performance.

Brown's ambitions for the upcoming UCC reflect his commitment to pushing boundaries. With goals to run a sub 6.5 pass, achieve over 2,000 horsepower, and make a strong hook, he acknowledges the challenges posed by being the sole Megacab contender. Despite not expecting to clinch victory, Brown aims to showcase his truck's capabilities and dedication to the sport. His wife Jerrie's unwavering support, along with assistance from Wyatt Hamilton and a network of sponsors including Keaton Samples at SPF, Flux Diesel, Austin Tate, and Hamilton Cams, among others, form the backbone of his UCC endeavor. Their collective efforts underscore Brown's determination to make his mark in the world of high-performance diesel racing.
