ABOUT

Morey Logue

Morey Logue’s journey to the Ultimate Callout Challenge 2024 has been fueled by a long-standing passion for competitive racing and the thrill of high-performance vehicles. He recalls attending the first-ever UCC in Salt Lake City, Utah, and being inspired by watching the best in the industry go head-to-head. This experience ignited a dream in Morey to one day be a part of such an elite competition. Now, with a background in motocross and a competitive spirit, Morey is ready to take on the UCC.

Competing in the UCC is undoubtedly stressful, as even a minor $5.00 part failure could jeopardize the entire event. However, Morey's love for drag racing and his extensive experience in dyno racing prepare him well for the challenges ahead. Growing up on the West Coast, he faced limited opportunities for drag racing, leading him to street racing, but sled pulling is an entirely new venture. Fortunately, he works at one of the top sled pulling shops in the country, which provides invaluable support and expertise.

One of Morey's significant accomplishments is the rapid development of his truck, a completely new build achieved through the support of friends and industry-leading companies. As he enters the UCC, his goals include running a 5.90 and pushing towards the remarkable milestone of 3,000 horsepower, aiming to be the first V-8 truck to achieve this feat. The strategy for the event will hinge on the results of the first day of drag racing, setting the tone for the remainder of the competition.

Grateful for the support from a multitude of sponsors and his dedicated race team, Morey acknowledges the contributions from DHD, Flux Diesel Injection, Exergy Performance, and many others. With a new truck that has yet to be fully tested, Morey is eager to surpass his previous records of 6.90 seconds and over 2,000 horsepower. He looks forward to learning and growing with his crew and sponsors, embracing the continuous journey of improvement and innovation in the high-stakes world of competitive diesel racing.
